Reference standards
currently in BUSTR rules:(Effective March 01, 2005)
Note: Because of Ohio Law, BUSTR does not automatically reference the
latest edition of industrial standards in its regulations. The versions
listed below are the current "Official" standards. If you want to reference
or use a newer standard you should have a copy of it at hand and contact
BUSTR to let them know what you intend to do if there is a difference
between the new standard and the referenced standard.
- NFPA 30-2003 Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code (Use the 2000 edition for above
ground tanks)
- NFPA 30A-2003 Automotive and Marine Service Station Code (Use the 2000 edition for above
ground tanks)
- NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (also called NEC-70). Section 500 deals with hazardous
locations and Article 514 deals specifically with service stations
- NFPA 407-2001 Standard for Aircraft Fueling
