  OSHA requires that any company involved in excavation, trenching, shoring, sheeting, or underground construction activities have a "Competent Person" supervising the job.  This competent person is responsible for overseeing underground activities, excavation safety, and site safety around the excavation.

  MAST provides "Competent Person" training that meets the OSHA criteria and gives your supervisors the information and training they need to ensure their job site is safe.

  Competent Person excavation training can be taken simultaneously with the MAST 8 Hour UST Installer Refresher training or the MAST 8 Hour CUSTI Refresher training classes.

  Special classes at your facility can be arranged.

  Fees depend on the number of persons to be trained and the location of the class.
